Kahua Applications

When you work in Kahua, you work in applications, also referred to as "apps". For most of the apps, what records you see depends on what project or partition you currently have open. You can always see what project or partition you are in by reviewing the header.

You can click on the project or partition name to switch to a different project or to return to the root domain. For more information on the hierarchical structure of Kahua's domains, partitions, and projects, refer to Understanding the hierarchical structure of Kahua.

Some apps function at the domain level. For example, in the Tasks app and Messages app you will see the same tasks and messages regardless of which project is currently open. Other apps that function at the domain level include administrative apps like Contacts, Users, Domain Settings, and the Recycle Bin.

Most apps have some common features and functionality. To learn more about those, refer to Navigating Apps.

There are standard apps that come with a Kahua license. It's important to remember that Kahua is a highly flexible and customizable platform. The standard apps in your domain may have been customized for your organization. Additionally, your domain may include specialty apps that are not included in this online help. Please reach out to your domain administrator for more information about your organization's implementation of Kahua.
