The Kahua mobile host

The system requirements for the Kahua mobile host are as follows:
-
Kahua iOS Host - We support the last two major versions of the iOS operating system. The Kahua iOS host is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. You can download and install the Kahua iOS host from Apple iTunes.
-
Kahua Android Host - We support the last two major version of the Android operating system. The Kahua Android host is compatible with Android phones and tablets. You can download and install the Kahua Android host from Google Play.
To access the Kahua app, users are required to enable biometric authentication (e.g., fingerprint or facial recognition) or a PIN code on their device. Upon launch, the application checks device encryption status. If device encryption is disabled, the user is denied access to Kahua and any locally stored data (applies when user enables offline). The user will receive the message: "This application requires device passcode/face/touch ID be turned on to login. Contact Kahua support at support.kahua.com for further assistance.”
Our mobile applications meet the same criteria for certifications as our desktop and web hosting platforms. Authentication is handled with the same code base across all hosts to ensure that requirements and updates apply across our entire offering.
The Kahua Mobile app is available for free for iOS and Android devices. Our mobile applications are published through and only available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This method ensures compliance with all relevant guidelines and policies, including user prompts for enabling location services, camera, etc.
Visit our app page at the appropriate store to determine compatibility with your device:
You will use the same credentials for accessing the mobile app as you do the desktop and web hosts. For more general information on logging in to Kahua, refer to Accessing Kahua.
Note Your organization will require you to use SSO or MFA to verify your identity when you log in to Kahua. If you have questions about your SSO credentials, contact your company's IT department. For more information on using multifactor authentication (MFA), refer to Multifactor Authentication.
Kahua Offline allows offline access to a number of applications. The feature must first be enabled in your domain by your domain administrator. Once enabled for your domain, you can enable offline access for your profile in the mobile host. Once enabled for your profile, it must be selected for each combination of project and application you want offline access for within that host.
When a project and application combination is enabled, data from the application will be saved to your device. When the data has been downloaded, Kahua will work locally any time your connection is lost. Kahua checks for a lost/found connection approximately every 30 seconds, to avoid intermittent disconnects when working in areas of irregular connections.
For more information on Kahua Offline, including how to enable it for the mobile host, refer to Kahua Offline.
